In some cases, high powered Subaru's can have an issue where the pulley can actually spin off the engine caused by excess belt vibration and the flimsy OEM guide simply isn't enough to contain the belt which can spell catastrophic failure.
The Tomei belt guide is significantly beefier with an extended length to securely hold down the lengthy EJ timing belt to prevent pulley disengagement. The black anodized surface creates a smooth and precise belt track as well as looking great with the white Tomei logo!
